Samsung quad core phone selling at Rs 17,990


Samsung's mid-range quad-core smartphone Galaxy Win Duos is now available in India. Though the device is not listed on Samsung India's website, online retailer Snapdeal is offering the device at Rs 17,990. According to Snapdeal, the official price of Galaxy Win Duos is Rs 19,850. 

The all-new Galaxy Win features a 4.7-inch TFT touchscreen with 800x480p resolution and 200ppi pixel density. The device is powered by Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, coupled with 1GB RAM. For storage, the manufacturer offers 8GB onboard memory in the device, along with 32GB microSD card support. 
Connectivity features in Samsung Galaxy Win include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and microUSB 2.0. A 5MP camera with LED flash is strapped to the back of this smartphone, while a VGA unit is placed in the front. It is powered by a 2,000mAh battery, supports dual-sim functionality and is available in white colour on the website. 

Apart from Galaxy Win Duos, Snapdeal is also offering Galaxy Fame. Galaxy Fame, which too has not been officially announced in India so far, is available for Rs 10,990 on the website in blue and white colours. The dual-sim phone is features a 3.5-inch TFT display with 480x320p resolution and 165ppi pixel density. It also runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1GHz CPU, paired with 512MB RAM. 

For imaging, this phone offers a 5MP camera with LED flash on the back and VGA shooter in front. The connectivity suite of the phone consists of options like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. Samsung Galaxy Fame also offers 1,300mAh battery, 4GB internal storage and 64GB microSD support.
