Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has said that he "can't wait" to get Google Glass, the wearable computer under development by the internet search giant.
According to Forbes, Zuckerberg said a team of three Facebook engineers are waiting for the first Google Glass hardware to be delivered so they can begin building applications.
Zuckerberg's remarks came despite the rivalry between his social networking giant and Google.
He recently told investors that the two firms, which increasingly compete for online advertising business, do not normally work together.
Google Glass is the web giant's first foray into wearable technology, an emerging market expected to more closely integrate the capabilities of smartphones in our lives.
Apple is rumoured to be working on an iWatch that will allow owners easier control to their iPhone.
