Apple iPhone 6, iOS 7 surface on app logs, Report


 Here's news for Apple  fanboys, the company's testing iPhone 6. According to The Next Web, a device with iPhone 6,1 identifier has surfaced on app logs derived from an IP address from Apple's Cupertino campus. 
iPhone 5 is known by identifiers like iPhone 5,1 and iPhone 5,2, varying in accordance with the LTE model and 4G band of the device. 

The article also said this device is running on iOS 7, seemingly the next version of Apple's mobile operating system. 
The upcoming version of iPhone is believed to be under development and this app log hints that Apple developers are testing whether the device works well with some of the popular apps on its marketplace. There are no hints available on the likely specs of the device. 

In November, Chinese news site Commercial Times said that the next iPhone will go into 'trial production' as early as December 2012 and only 50,000-100,000 units of the device will be manufactured. On the other hand, mass production of the device will commence in the first quarter of next year, it said. 

The report in Commercial Times also speculated that the upcoming smartphone will be launched in the first quarter of 2013, most likely in March. This will mean that Apple launching its next flagship phone just six months after rolling out iPhone 5.
