Superhero flicks come and go, but Mr India holds a special place in the heart of a movie buff.  The sizzling on screen chemistry between Anil Kapoor and Sridevi, Amrish Puri’s  Mogambo, the bunch of kids – everything went in favor of this flick.
Written by the legendary writer duo Salim-Javed, the movie was directed by Shekar Kapur and produced by Boney Kapoor. The music was by Laxmikant-Pyarelal and the lyrics were by Javed Akhtar.

The script and the direction were perfect. There is a scene where Anil Kapoor spots a cockroach in Sridevi’s room. Watch these scenes – we will tell you some secrets after you watch them.


Are you wondering how the director got the cockroach close up?  They surrounded the cockroach in a pool of rum before taking the shot.

And the latest buzz is that the movie will be rereleased in 3D in 2014. A sequel is also planned with Sridevi, Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor.
