As per the Indian Readership Survey (IRS) for Q1, 2012 data, internet in India has gone up by 47.3 per cent in the last three quarters CAGR, with the reach climbing to 37.48 million, from 34.41 million in the Q4 survey.
The total reach of TV media has also gone up by 5.6 per cent CAGR to 554.65 million, according to the Indian Readership Survey report released by the Media Research Users Council (MRUC) and Hansa Research.
Meanwhile, radio and cinema are two sectors which are seeing negative growth. In the Q1 report, both the sectors have seen a negative CAGR of 4.2 per cent. While total reach of radio is at 154.94 million, Cinema goes out to 75.19 million.
